Thin Is In at Macworld!

Apple's new, barely there "MacBook Air" notebook computer, the MacBook Air was announced during the annual Macworld Expo in San Francisco. The .76-inch thick notebook features power, but little bulk - Apple packed a Core 2 Duo Intel processor into the aluminum-clad laptop, but did without a removable media drive to save size and weight. The MacBook Air weights just three pounds.

Apple also announced updated software for its iPhone, iPod touch and Apple TV, which can now show movies rented from iTunes. New films can be downloaded 30 days after they become available on DVD for just $3.99. Older titles cost $2.99, and high-definition films cost $4.99.
